Active parents and teachers serve as role models, promoting physical activity and a healthier lifestyle to their children. Take your lessons outside and not only will you be setting a good example and reaping the benefits of physical activity for yourself, you will also be improving the children's academic performance; the proven benefit of linking academic learning to physical activity.  There are no excuses for not taking learning outside!

There is a growing body of evidence that proves that Physically Active Learning (PAL), which integrates movement with the delivery of academic content, can improve a child’s retention of knowledge and memory and, as a result, enhance their academic performance.
