The Sundays River Citrus Company Foundation in partnership with Waitrose Foundation Southern Africa have enabled the installation of a Rustics Tarantula Play system at the Mistkraal RC Primary School in the Sundays River.

In this testimonial, the Principal, Mr Jacobs says, “It has brought great enjoyment for the learners and the teachers are finding really creative ways to incorporate the playground equipment into lessons, including Life Skill and Mathematics.

“The children are also learning discipline skills, to be patient and to work in a team.

“We are also finding that attendance levels have increased as children are excited to come to school to play on the equipment.”

“The Waitrose Foundation Southern Africa partners with SRCC Foundation Trust in order to extend their reach to communities.  This is an example of one of those successful partnerships in action!” Ms Emily Hendricks, Manager: Exporter Liaison and Regional Coordination.

“SRCC Foundation is extremely grateful to have this support and relationship with Waitrose Foundation, as working together, we can achieve more and have a bigger impact on the lives of the children living in the communities.  Thank You, Waitrose Foundation SA!” Barbara Yates, Manager SRCC Foundation Trust
